Get ready for some delicious, local, organic food brought to you by your Appleton Farms CSA farmers!
The first winter share pickup is this Friday November 8, from 1-6pm! We’re excited about what we have to offer this week and think you will be, too. Mild weather this fall means we have been able to extend the harvest window of crops in the field that we might not normally have in early November. We are so happy to be able to offer vegetables like cauliflower, fennel, and radicchio, which are normally gone by now, in addition to the standard storage crops we normally have. With cold weather on the way, we hope you enjoy these fresh crops while we still have them! — Farmer Andrew
The winter share offers quite a bit more volume than a typical summer pick up and therefore we recommend you bring two bags or a box to collect your veggies. If you or a friend are unable to pick up your share this Friday, we will put together a box for you to pick up at the CSA barn during Farm Store hours. You must notify us prior to the start of this pickup if you want to collect a box and pick up by the following Monday.
